Fairchild Wood Bench

Just as every tree is unique, so, too, is every bench in the Fairchild range. The unmistakable character of the tree-edge structure on the long side of the seat as well as the natural wooden surface mean that every bench is one-of-a-kind.

The combination of the rustic tree edge and the modern, white U-shaped frame (dimensions: 40cm H x 80cm W x 1.2cm D) is perfect. The mix of wood and metal give this bench a special something. Production process of the seat:

The acacia wood must be thoroughly dried before it is suitable for the production of the tree edges of the bench. Only after this drying phase is the bark removed and any unevenness and sharp edges are eliminated. During the next step, the wooden surfaces of the bench are sealed with varnish. The varnish protects the wood and guarantees the long-life of the bench.
